HEALTH ASSESSMENT

The purpose of this assessment is to demonstrate your ability to apply advanced health assessment knowledge, clinical reasoning, and evidence-based decision-making in managing a deteriorating patient. Using the provided video case study, you will interpret assessment findings and diagnostic data to identify priorities of care and appropriate escalation. This assessment requires you to synthesise information, apply advanced pathophysiology, and justify nursing interventions within your scope of practice. Students not currently in acute care will apply these principles to the simulated case.
